Herman
Herman has always wanted to be an English teacher since he was young. He is also a farmer and loves working outside in the rice fields. His favourite animal is the orangutan and he thinks it is important to protect the jungle.  You will find him always laughing and joking with friends. 


Rini teaching at her previous school
RiniRini was previously a teacher for 6 months before joining the We Care Program. She enjoys sharing her knowledge and skills with children, especially teaching them how to make handicrafts. She loves exploring and meeting new people she can learn f
rom. She likes to go to the jungle in her free time and use to live right next to the orangutan feeding platform. 



Fitri buying fresh ingredients 
Fitri
Fitri has 3 years experience working at a school as a teacher and a chef. Fitri is an amazing cook. Her favourite food is gado-gado (an Indonesian mixed salad with a yummy peanut sauce dressing). You can sign up to Indonesian cooking classes with her to learn how to make authentic dishes and take a tour around the local markets to buy fresh ingredients. 


Vida walking in the local area
Vida
Vida thinks English is an important language to learn and wants to also improve her English speaking skills by working at the school. She has previously worked as a sales assistant in the big city of Medan. Her favourite place is Bukit Lawang because she loves the jungle and orangutans. When she is not teaching she likes to go jogging and help her mum at home.
